DEC 2011 -- ARGENTINA POLO SPONSORS YANEZ POLO TEAM IN BODEGAS CUP (Mendoza, Argentina) - The Bodegas Cup is one of the most charming local tournaments that you can find in Argentina. Very few foreigners are aware of this tournament. Bodegas are wineries, for which Mendoza is famous, and these wineries get together every year to hold a tournament of local Argentine polo teams from different provinces. The Yanez polo team comes from Villa Dolores and consists of 3 brothers and a son. The team is bound and determined, so we are enthusiastically supporting and following this tournament from 1-5 December 2012.

Nov2008 - Fernando Pallini with his new horse blankets. Fernando is our most enthusiastic polo customer in Zimbabwe, and we are most impressed at his determination to retrieve his polo gear from the Zimbabwe Customs department. Thank you Fernando.

  


Jul2010 - Swiftbidder Women's Polo Team at Calgary Polo Club in Canada were proudly wearing their Team Jerseys made by Argentina Polo.

     


Jul2008 - Anthony Cordeiro and his horse Rebe in Kenya. Anthony plays at Nairobi Polo Club and he loves his new boots, kneepads and helmet.

  


Feb2008 - Argentina Polo was invited to play Camel Polo for Team Mongolia in the Gobi Desert. There were 22 teams and 140 camels playing 64 chukkas over two days. The temperature was -20*C, and some of the team's members were quite cold.
     

Sep2007 - Tim Kyne from Nashville, TN sent us a picture of his new boots. His comment, "They feel great." 		 
Aug2007 - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are responsible for law enforcement on horseback across thousands of miles of Canadian mountain and arctic wilderness. Recently, Canadian Mountys Marty Cheliak and Frank Foran placed an order for RCMP Brown Strathcona boots. They are based in Iqualuit, Nunavut (Baffin Island) in the far Northeast Canadian Arctic. The Strathcona boot was designed by the Slater Shoe Company of Montreal for "Strathcona's Horse" military unit that served in the 1899 South African War. May2008 - Tom Wisehart and the Michigan State Polo team. The team recently ordered some saddles for their club level polo program. Tom volunteers as coach to the team. Last year, they finished in second place.		  
Nov2007 - Seyi Oyinlola from Lagos Polo Club in Nigeria. Seyi ordered new boots, saddles and tack, and he was very pleased that we could ship successfully to Nigeria.
     

Jul2007 - Our long-time Customer Peter Ristic from Germany sent us a photo of his team which recently won the low goal "Bavaria Cup" in Munich. He informs us that there is another medium goal tournament during Oktoberfest and guest players are welcome.		  
Apr2007 - Our Customer Tim Rose recently won the Easter 8 Goal Championship at Soto Grande in Spain. Tim bought some team shirts and other gear from us, so hopefully, his next victory will be in his new shirts.
     

May2008 - Robert Avery with his wife Ann and his horse Friday. Robert recently bought a shirt, helmet and Military Jodhpurs from us, and he is now ready to go.		  
Jan2009 - Olatunde Faseku lives in Lekki, Nigeria and is a big fan of Argentina Polo. He and his wife have ordered boots and all their polo gear from us, and we look forward to following his and his wife's polo career in Nigeria.
     

May2008 - Elephant Polo player Ed Story has modified his Ranch vehicle to practice with his new sticks. Ed recently ordered two 82" and two 76" elephant polo sticks which were specially manufactured by Eduardo to be light and flexible near the head. Ed is currently testing these sticks on his Texas ranch so that he will be ready for the Four Seasons Elephant Polo Team in 2009. The seat is only designed for the offside, so we are not sure what Ed is going to do about his nearside shots.
