Location: Villa Dolores, Cordoba, Argentina.
Requirements: Female / Age 18-30 / Love of horses / Interest in polo / Interest in learning Spanish / Start working in May (duration 1-3 months) / Get yourself to Villa Dolores.
Cost: US$500
Provided: Lodging and Motorcycle.
Not Provided: Food (not expensive) and Transport to & from Don Pepe Polo Farm.
Duties: You will learn the life of the Argentine gaucho and assist managing a 30 hectare Polo Farm with 30-50 low and medium goal polo horses. If you know how to play polo, you can play for free next door at the Comechingones Polo Club almost every weekend. You will ride and school polo horses with the grooms and you will care for Mares and Foals. You will have a chance to teach polo and gain experience in polo horse management, care and marketing. You will be able to learn and help with construction of a new polo field and designing polo bungalows on the farm. We are looking for two spirited young ladies that like to work hard and learn. Both will live and work together and take turns managing the farm and improving their polo. They will be in close contact with the farm owners Gustavo and Maria Yanez and their 3 children.
